Hi, I'm MountainWoman. I live in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, right in God's backyard. I am first and foremost a mother of 4. My younger two daughters still live at home with me. I enjoy reading, writing, painting, graphic design, and have eclectic tastes in music. All of the above nurture my soul on the journey. I sew for myself and my children, and make and paint silk neckties for sale. And, I am a grateful 12-stepper...One Day at a Time...

This is my youngest daughter, 13 years old, with the deer she helped raise. They are playing in our front yard. Lucky is now a yearling doe, and living in the wild, for the most part, although she comes to visit us from time to time. My daughter also raises a dairy goat named Klaire.
